Who we are

Emerald Garden began in downtown Millburn, NJ in 1993
by James Opie who had been designing floral events for many years before striking out on his own.
He brought along a faithful following and the accolades for his work continue to grow. Not only is he a talented designer,
a creative individual with a beautiful sense of style and wonderful interpretive skills, he’s a perfectionist.
Attention to detail is evident and you will come to see that he loves what he does. Our Team is knowledgeable and committed to Jim’s vision.

Our current location in Springfield, NJ is a charming space which showcases the design talents of the business owner, inside and out. You’ll find interesting one-of-a-kind vintage and antique elements for home and garden. Our fresh flower work follows suit in that each piece is unique and custom designed whether it’s a birthday arrangement or an event for 200 guests. This means you won’t typically find ready-made arrangements on a shelf waiting for purchase. We prefer to have a conversation about your needs and desires and design something just for you; a bespoke floral boutique.

In addition to our floral designs, we specialize in seasonal container gardening, which adds beauty to outdoor spaces at any time of year.

We take great pride in the roster of premiere country clubs, golf clubs, and tennis clubs that we service weekly and for special occasions and club events.
